Well, I wasn't too impressed to be honest. They changed the controller which was perfect to begin with, besides the D-Pad and they gave the console a terrible name and shape. Other than that though they seemed to have put a lot of work into it. 8 GB Ram, over 300,000 servers, multiple living room uses and many other things. Overall, it may not look pretty but I hope it will run smoothly.
What do you guys think?
Always-on Internet is NOT required for everything, as it turns out. Though the technology is in place so that game developers can make their games require an always-on connection if they so desired. That explains why EA is doing away with their online pass system.
I gotta wonder, though. What the HELL were they thinking with that shape and name? The name is like something out of an Abbot & Costello routine, and the console itself reminds me a lot of a Betamax player in shape.

I didn't hear about the always online internet thing, thanks for telling me.
As for the name and shape, I don't mind it to much. What it lacks in shape in name creativity, it seems to make up for in general usefulness and gaming ability.
Also, Quantum Break looked sick graphic wise, right?

But were they actual in-game footage or pre-rendered like the rest of the screenshots shown?
Also, http://www.computerandvideogames.com/407912/microsoft-confirms-pre-owned-fee-for-xbox-one/ means I won't be buying the console after all.
