Special Notice: Contest and New Story! · 11:49pm May 18th, 2013
Alright, so I've entered into a small contest in the group "Badass-Twilight-Total-Domination." The aim is to draw in as many new members as possible through stories relating to Twilight being awesome--so pretty much any story with Twilight at all.
Yeah, the title of the group is kinda silly. But hey, it's a smallish community, and extremely low-spam. Anyone part of the larger groups (Writer's Group, Proofreader's Group, etc) won't even notice.
There are only four entrants, and we've got until the first of August.
So, anyone who thinks that a collection of badass Twilight stories is something they'd like to look at (with a select folder for the best of the best), and if you've read and enjoyed Lethe or The Moon Also Rises--or both!--and you're not a part of this group, do a bro a favour and follow the two links below; the first to the group's front page, and the second to a forum thread in which members I've recruited post a comment (include which story, etc etc) in order to count towards the contest.

Following that, I'm writing a specific story for this same contest (Actually not sure if we're allowed to use old stuff, but hey). I've been thinking a great deal lately about the timeskip between Lethe and The Moon Also Rises. There's certainly a great deal of material that could fill out that gap, and I've had at least one expression of interest in expanding the world there. With that in mind, I'm pleased to announce Sage's Might (title subject to change)--the first in a short series set in that time.
Sage's Might will be strictly from Twilight's POV, roughly 50-60k words, and set a few months after the conclusion of Lethe. Hopefully, the Lethe rewrite will go up a little before, especially as Sage's Might will rely on some changes made therein. Look for both in late July.
Unfortunately, this will slow down my progress on The Moon Also Rises. I've been feeling burned out for a little while anyway, and I hope some time on other, smaller projects will help me get back into the swing of it. I've got enough chapters written to tide everyone over for a while, anyway, but we may end up cutting it pretty close.
