Okay, silliness aside (I do tend to get a little silly after an intense emotional moment. More on that at the end), I'm dropping the analysis aspect because I'm going to run out in a hurry.

Fanfic progress

I believe most writers worth their salt have this little voice inside their heads telling them whether what they're writing is any good or not. I do have that little voice and it was telling me that the latest chapter of "Luna Looks for Love" was not going well, so I threw out all my current progress and will start anew at some point. I just learned my grandfather is really sick however (in the middle of writing this in fact), so I'm not up to writing at the moment.

Also, I'm sure you noticed my newest story, "Gimme Shelter." I had actually been sitting on that story for a week, untouched because I wasn't sure if it was any good. It wasn't that little voice that told me the work on chapter three of "Luna Looks for Love" that was telling me that, but the fact that it was so short. I believe my shortest story before this one was 1290 words (edit: actually it was 1231 words), and this was only 1110. Apparently, its relative shortness wasn't a drawback though, since it reached the popular stories section on the front page, got 45 likes and one dislike, 24 favorites, and over 260 views (though I just woke up so I haven't read the comments yet, but, judging by everything else...)

There's also a story in the works about Celestia and a Twilight Plushie (far less dirty/shippy than it sounds. Look up rubber ducky debugging for an idea of what I'm on about, and why I think Megatron has a rubber ducky), and by in the works, I mean I tried to write it before realizing it needs some time in the incubator before being written

Reviews are being changed to once a month, but a note to those who post at Equestria Forums: I haven't been on in a few days, but I'll be back once I've convinced myself that my little blowup at a poster there (who is a writer here. Not naming names and it was done via PM, though you might see me adding you to my Skype later) hasn't completely burned my bridges, since I handled it far more emotionally (and as a result worse) than I should have and really regret it. Should be a few more days tops

And, since I learned my grandfather is very sick, expect a few posts about his condition in the coming days. 2013 is not being a kind year to me
