Thoughts and Updates

So, my friends have been asking me what my thoughts were on Equestria Girls. I figured I'd put my answer here for those of you who actually feel my opinions have merit. Just from looking at the preview you can't really get anything out of it story wise, just that she becomes human and she has average high school problems like prom and there's an antagonist, looks like Spitfire to me, possibly a new character,for the most part, every pony has a counterpart here. While I personally have had enough of high school drama in my own life it doesn't mean that it's going to be bad, nor does it mean that it's going to be good either. I personally am not a fan of humanized ponies, however if the story is good enough I might give it a look see to see if I like it or not. Won't know until it comes out. Also, remember that it is still meant for primarily for little girls and we all know how the "little girls'" tv show went. I have also said this for just about everything I watch, the creators put a lot of hard work into it and if you've ever created something, you know, it feels great to be recognized possitively for the things you create, that doesn't mean being a little critical is a bad thing, just don't put it down, if you don't like it, then you don't like it and it's okay to express your opinion, it might make the creators feel a little down, but they know they can't please everybody and it's better than making them feel like shit for it, that will only make them stop doing what they do and in effect could drop the quality of FiM.
TL;DR I think that as of yet, it could go either way, good or bad.
I try to focus on if it has a good story line, that's what draws me in personally.
I've ranted quite a bit, now for those updates. I managed to write more of my big writing project, it's still not ready to be put up yet however, I'd say maybe only a quarter, close to half done with the first chapter. If you have no clue what I'm talking about, I'm writing a Dr. Whooves fic and I plan on it being epic, if not then the epicness will only be in the length of the chapters, so far it's around three thousand words... Most of you know, I usually write very short chapters never going more than a couple thousand words aside from my couple of one-shots. I only have one reading right now and it's up to chapter five, will do more soon, still waiting on any requests, until I do, I'm just going to go down my favorites list in no particular order.
