Should I become one of those people to writes you know what

I want to write a clopfic not because i actually want to, it just seems that it's the only kind of stories people reads now.

It is entirely up to you. Make sure it is something that 'You' want to do - don't worry about other people. There is a reason users on this site write many one-shots; it is to test the waters both in what they might like to write and what the reader will enjoy. Also, goals should be set at a reasonable limit e.g. your 'Taste of Life' story at this point in time has six likes. Shoot for eight next time in whatever you feel like writing about. I certainly didn't have six likes on my first story - it was one like and five dislikes. But I had that one single favorite come through and that was my goal.

Thanks for your suggestion. The first story i wrote got 9 likes actually but it also got 20 dislikes so i removed it. I guess I really should just experiment with different genres since I haven't really written stories before discovering this site.
