School and and Rifles! (what?) · 2:17am Mar 23rd, 2012
So I've noticed that Spring is the time when MANY writers of the Internet seem to "dissapear," and my that I mean just do not update. I have gotten about THREE story updates over the past...I dunno, two weeks almost, when before I would get a story update every day, at the LEAST.
I, being one who has barely even made progress on my own stories, think I MIGHT know why:
Schools are in final half of THIRD QUARTER, also known as the time when all AP/GT students commit suicide/lose their lives. I don't mean that LITERALLY (for the most part. •~•), but I can say, from experience, that school work has been a living HELL lately.
As for those at work...I dunno, probably a similar thing with school: Crunch Time before the inevitable enemy of all Bossas everywhere: Spring Break?
And, and girlfriends/boyfriends. Spring is the season of love after all. Dem couples gatta do the Dew, if you know what I mean...
It's different on the mountain...what? That doesn't even make sense...then again. Does it HAVE to?
ANYWAY. Something else I noticed which has bugged me and I just wanted to out my two cents out there for.
Girls think guys can, when dealing with a bathroom situation, just (and I quote), "Whip it out and fire away at the target, perfect accuracy."
No. That's NOT how it works.
If (more reasonably, WHEN) guys DO do that, then this brings another, but similar point.
Aim. AIM, CELESTIA DAMN IT. Just because we have a rifle doesn't mean we can shoot it well. And let's be honest, hipfireing NEVER get the bullseye.
You gatta take the rifle out of it's holster.
Follow Patrick's advice and FIRMLY GRASP IT.
Prime the rifle and take aim.
THEN fire!
Can't tell you HOW many times I've had to deliver a #2 and almost ruined a pair of pants wiping off the inaccuracy of the spray-and-prayers...
That is all.
Aiming I didn't do it in Half-Life I don't have the time to do it now.
Nah me and Red are doing a spring special but we only release weakly anyway but it's between 3-5 cahpters in one I estimate
