Well, I'm baaaaaaaack! Buuuuuuuutttt............

.....I've got some GOOD news, and a bit of (kinda/sorta) "bad" news.

The GOOD news is that our trip went well and Steve and Terry got LOTS of good pics of their granddaughter, Molly, just before her prom.  But the REALLY good news is THIS:

I GOT MY COMP OUT OF STORAGE AND BROUGHT IT HOME WITH ME YESTERDAY!!!!!

*ahem* Sorry 'bout that, y'all, but I'm excited!!!

Anyways, yes, I now have my comp up here with me.  It's still sitting in its box out in the garage atm, but I think that's just 'cause Steve wants to make sure that nothing nasty crawls out of it before he takes it downstairs to his office in the basement so he can look at it to see if he can fix it before we (translation: I) have to shell out a bunch of money for someone at a computer shop to do it (about the "nothing nasty crawling out of it", long story).  But the main thing is that it's finally up here where we can do...whatever...with it.

Now to the "bad" news.........

Well, the "bad" news is that yes, I found my Kodak All-in-One Printer/Scanner in storage yesterday.  The "bad" news is that, despite me telling my cousin Tommy to put it where I could get to it later, he did...but then again, he didn't. Drat his (usually lovable) hide.

What do I mean by that?  I'll tell you.

Well, it is up front where you can see it, but, the kicker is this:

Yes, you can see the box that it's in, but, it's also behind a small stack of stuff, and has about 5 or 6 things stacked on top of it.  Put it this way: it wasn't where we could get stuff out and get to it out so we could bring it back with is.  So, needless to say, it is still sitting in storage.  At least until the next time that we can go back down.  And when that will be, I dunno.

On a more positive note concerning that, though, Steve said that he had a couple of extra printers, and that I could use one of them til I can get mine out of that bloomin' storage unit, and up here.  The kicker is that I don't know if either of them is an All-in-One (whatever the brand is), so, if they aren't, that, sadly means that I won't be able to scan any of my art into my comp (once it's fixed, that is (duh)) until I can get that thing out of storage, and up here, too.  So that means just my fics.  For now, anyway.

Still, that's half of my art/fic-submitting problems kinda/sorta dealt with, which is good.  I'm still working on my art-stuff, which is also good.

So just please, continue to be patient with me on this stuff, okay?  Things are finally, finally falling into place for your's Truly, and stuff is coming.  It's just gonna take a little bit more time, but things are coming.  I promise.
