I used to hate fanfic.

I've been a part of various fandoms over the years and the one thing I could never really get into was fan fiction, if it wasn't an official part of the property then I never gave it a second thought. These feelings continued until I became a part of the My Little Pony community. I love these confounded ponies and I can't get enough so when I ran out of episodes I did something I thought I would never do again and try fan fiction. I did not regret it.

Now here I am a few weeks later, I've read enough that I feel comfortable judging the quality of a story based on the preset standards of other stories. I am currently writing a story myself but I want to have at least three or four chapters finished before I begin to post it and I want each chapter to be around 2000-4000 words. I don't think I'd be able to update frequently enough without sufficient lead time and the story I have mapped out will probably be around ten chapters long.

I hope that if you're reading this you'll be interested enough to give my story a chance when it eventually gets posted and I hope you'll like it. I also hope that you write some wonderful stories for me to enjoy.
