    Second pony... I meant person!

OK so here's the long and short of it. I am writing a second person adventure novel.
I am writing it like one of those books where the reader can make choices.

It is a HIE fic where the character to be refeerred as 'you' is at home. Something is outside.

So what do you guys and gals think? Should I write using this underused perspective?

Any words of wisdom would be most appreciated.

    Need cover art?

Howdy to one and all. I am only just starting out here. I'm Andy, pleased to meet you. I'm also a pony artist and can do cover arts for anyone who wants one. All I ask is you comment on the painting once it is up on my DA account. http://accident-proneybrony.deviantart.com/gallery/

And maybe somewhere along the line they'll become commissions but I'll see how I do for now.

    The cult of friendship?

I've often find myself accused of being brain-washed. Although I have no problem with a nice clean brain I never quite understood the merit of their accusation.

So there are perhaps some ways where our fandom does look much like a cult.
1: we have a creed we follow, well some of us, just me? To love and to tolerate

Day 1 difficulties of the literate brony.

Alas this happens more often than not to me. I have an idea but I can't put pen to paper or in most cases hand to keyboard. I try to distract myself from this niggling feeling that the first chapter or indeed the first words will never be written; forever trapped inside the rusted cage of my mind. Because even though I can tell you with absolute certainty that finishing a story is a monumental

I vote no.

The reason second-person perspective is rarely used as a story type is, quite frankly, it shoudn't be used. I've found that it's an ineffective way to tell a story and follow a plotline.

Oh okay, you know better than me.

It was meant to be like one of those make your own adventure novels where you make choices in the story, have you ever heard of those? They can be quite fun. Almost like roleplaying. :pinkiehappy:

Yes, but I prefer, you know, actual roleplaying. If you want a make-your-own adventure have a blog post following every chapter for people to pitch in ideas.

I don't have enough of a following for that to glean any meaningful results. I'll drop the idea. No worries :raritycry:
