Please, forgive my recent hiatus. The creative writing class I've been taking for the last few weeks is absolutely amazing. I'd rather wait until I've learned what I can from it before I continue with my own work. I only want to show you all the best I can give, after all.

    I'm back!

After a very long, very unannounced hiatus, I've finally begun writing again. Needless to say, there will be much more coming from me in the months to come; however, I'm planning on taking my sweet time with my work so that it can be nothing less than my best. I'm also going to add a prologue to Prisoner soon, as well as write some short stories about my characters' pasts to further

Prereader? (taken from my dA) · 8:31pm Apr 6th, 2013

I'm looking for a prereader/editor for either or both of my stories. I do a lot of revision on my own, but that doesn't entirely remove the chance of silly mistakes. Also, I sometimes wonder if everything I write is fully understandable; while I understand it because it comes from my head, I can't really know if my readers understand it. Having a prereader would really help with all of that, and it would also boost my confidence when I post each chapter.
However, I have a few... nitpicky specifications. Or perhaps just one. Whoever wants to be my prereader(if anyone actually does) needs to be confident in his or her writing skills. This includes everything from periods, commas, and semicolons(punctuation); clauses, phrases, and structure(grammar); and hopefully some sort of experience.

By the way, how many of you knew that semicolons are used to separate ideas in lists where each item contains commas to avoid confusion between list items? That's what I did just now. I separated punctuation, grammar, and experience with semicolons because each item had commas, and... well, you get the point. Hopefully. Either way, I want a prereader who understands something like that. Call me picky if you'd like; it's true, but I don't think there's any use in a prereader if he or she doesn't understand how to write.

Now it's time to counter much of what I just wrote. As much as I enjoy the English language because of it's ridiculous structure, I love it most because it can be broken while remaining understandable. Not all of my writing is correct. I break rules on purpose, like most writers do. There are technical errors in my stories that are meant to be there. I need a prereader for the technical mistakes that aren't meant to be there.

So... everything above looks extremely complicated. Curse my over-the-top writing.

I'll sum it up!

I need a prereader who is observant, open-minded, and knows their stuff. If you're interested at all, PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE let me know.

I think that's it...
