Okay so I just finished the last episode of season 1 of Girls und Panzer. You must watch this anime! It's was so so good. I had a constant adrenaline rush through out. SO what is it about?
Girls und Panzer is an anime set in a world where all school are on giant battleships and the female ones (they seem to be gender split) practice in the fine art of Sensha-dō which is the Japanese but is referred to as panzer throughout and it's translation is Way of the Tank. The girls at Oarai Academy restart the subject? I dunno but the start competing in it as a school again. That's right competing. The are rules for the age of the tank (around world war 2 time) and basically it's what you get if World of Tanks was practised by girls.
Basically the whole thing is an under dog story as the school has a very low number of Panzer's and they're all old as well. Also the members of their team are inexperienced and have very little training compared to the other schools. But it is still an excellent anime.
Also their is something very sexy about girls driving tanks. Just saying.
Another anime I recomend is Sword Art Online (SAO for short). It's set in the future where a fully imersive Virtual Reality MMO has been made. And SAO the latest one start with little fuss. Until everyone discovers the log out button has been removed. And so they all get forced to teleport and find out they can't escape until someone finishes all 100 floors of the tower. And so we follow Kirito who was one of the original Beta testers as he goes up the tower. Also there is a bit of romance but it's done amazingly well and you experience the FUCK YEAH effect when it happens. Also Asuna is hot so that's a plus.
