Please, forgive my recent hiatus. The creative writing class I've been taking for the last few weeks is absolutely amazing. I'd rather wait until I've learned what I can from it before I continue with my own work. I only want to show you all the best I can give, after all.

    I'm back!

After a very long, very unannounced hiatus, I've finally begun writing again. Needless to say, there will be much more coming from me in the months to come; however, I'm planning on taking my sweet time with my work so that it can be nothing less than my best. I'm also going to add a prologue to Prisoner soon, as well as write some short stories about my characters' pasts to further

Why the buck not? · 7:38pm Mar 24th, 2013

-taken from my deviantArt journal(don't really expect you to read it all but whatever):

I've been absent for a little while, now. Wondering why? Maybe, maybe not.

A week ago, I took a very important test called the California High School Proficiency Exam(CHSPE for short). From what I understand, the CHSPE is a test anyone who is 16 years of age or is a sophomore and turning 16 that school year can take, and if they pass, they get a Proficiency Diploma; this diploma is the equivalent of any high school diploma. In other words, any high school student in California can take this test, and if they pass, then they get their diploma and are not required to finish high school. This test is also quite easy. It consists of only a lengthy Language Arts/Reading test and a not-so-lengthy Algebra test. It can be a ticket out for those who simply want to be done with school, and would rather waste away on their hind quarters; however, it can also be an opportunity for those who believe they are ready to move forward and take on college to do so. I'm part of the latter. For a long time I wanted to get a head start, and I jumped at this opportunity. Now, I'm waiting for my results, and hopefully my diploma. (I'm a 16 year old junior, by the way)
That's taken up much of my time and thought, as well as an upcoming expository(informational) speech I have in my -amazing- speech class. Think you can guess what I chose for my topic? It's not that surprising, really. My topic is "Bronies." As much as the fandom has grown, there are still many people who haven't heard of it yet. It's also something I am very passionate about, so I figured it would be a perfect topic for my speech. I've been working diligently on my outline, and I'm getting ready to make a PowerPoint for support... I can't wait! It's going to be so awesome!
So, all of the above(and Dead Space) has left me with little time for artwork and writing... and here I am, just submitted the beginning of my new fanfiction, Afflicted! Why, you might wonder, would I decide to burden myself with yet another story? My thought process was as follows: "Why the buck not?"
Anyhow, I do have some more of Prisoner to work on, and I have some random sketches here and there I might upload. Time will tell~
