I'm on EQD, baby! · 8:26pm Mar 23rd, 2013
So, my day was going pretty normal. I went to work at 10:30 like I was scheduled to do. I sold stuff, it was fun.
It's been slow lately, so my boss cut my hours and I found myself going home at 3:30 instead of 7. I thought 'OK, whatever, I'll just go home, get some stuff done, catch up on my Hulu, get in some pony time.
I came home, changed and grabbed my headphones to listen to some music while I did some stuff around the house, when what should I see on my ipod, but a notification of an email. An email that read as follows:
Re: Fanfic: My Limitless Lily
Response:
Congratulations, your story has been accepted into EqD.
Your Quote: "Simple. Whimsical. Read it, guys."

Needless to say I squeed like a thousand Fluttershys.
I wasn't even expecting it to get in when I submitted it. I thought I'd just read their rejection letter and learn from it, since I had never written in that perspective before and I thought I didn't add enough detail in several areas.
Thank you to those of you who read it, and thank you especially to my prereader, ACTASAP. I could not have done this without you.
