Continue Story or do new Story Idea? · 8:57pm Mar 12th, 2012

Alright... the reason why I have not been updating as much as I would like is because of two things: School, and, the worst one, a NEW story idea. And by new, I MEAN new, I have riffled through the deepest part of the fandom and have not found a SINGLE fanfic that went quite like the one mine is. The closest thing it can be cross-referenced with is Upheaval: Breaking Point, but even then it is absolutely nothing like it.

I will try to post a minor spoiler of the prologue that I have worked up in my head over the past few weeks onto paper, (Just to let you, this has been on my mind since I first started to like the show, so, it's been in existence for almost a year now), and post it on here and see the amount of recognition it gets. If it doesn't get half as much recognition as MLM got in two days, in one week, I'll drop it for now and continue my work on MLM.

You will have NO IDEA what this will do for me...

I vote both. Focus on whichever one you feel more like doing when you feel like writing, so if you feel more like working on your new idea then do that, and if you feel more like MLM do that.

I'd recommend taking your time to do one, or the other, and type out your idea and save it for later, maybe sometime when you're taking a break from your main project in favor of the other. I'd say it works well enough for certain people I've recommended this method to.

I'll vote both on the manner anyway.

A bit of wisdom would be to go it slow you can't burden yourself too much or your readers will get nothing

30642 I completely agree with this. I even said something similar to a friend of mine that used to write over on Fanfiction, before he gave up completely. He had 9 stories running at the same time. And not one of them was completed! He just called me one day and told me that he gave up the Fanfiction business and he wasn't going to look back. Shame really, 8 out of his 9 stories had great potential.

well now that you got the point put it to use. lol Onwards AND Upwards ALLONS-Y!

your doing good i say Continue the story
