Making a House a Home

Hi, out there!

This is my first blog post, like ever! So, hurray! I love firsts! Let see, what have I to tell you? Well to start off I've just finished updating the layout of my User Page. That way everypony knows I am, in fact, alive. I'll try to add a pic or two for color but that might take a while. I don't upload personal pictures to the internet if I can help it and I won't "borrow" another artist's work without explicit permission. So I'm gonna have to draw something for you! Yay! I'm not a great visual artist by any stretch of the imagination but I do pretty well for being half blind. (Not really. I just wear a pretty intense prescription.)

The other thing I wanted to mention was my intention (lol, that rhymed) to write something for you guys and gals. I may not be any good with paint brush or sketch pad, but I've been told I'm a pretty good writer. To date, I've posted very little work anywhere. I rarely finish a story before I'm ready to start another one and completely forget the first. It's my hope, however, to defeat this in me and create something worthwhile and finished. So I think I'll start out small. I've had this huge story idea for months now but I'm afraid to really start. I don't want to leave it half done. What I think I'll do instead, is start with a prelude. A little something to wet my apatite and yours. We'll see where it goes from there.
