    Meanwhile, in the Real World...

So the last time I wrote, I said hello and teased you all with the idea that Chrysalis is still lurking about the edges of Equestria in my mind. And this is still true! However, real life has kept me very busy and flustered lately, and it took good friends to bring me out of it and back to worlds where things can be happy and light and fun. Hello, everypony!

Two wonderful friends dragged my book-brained self over into the fandom. I fell in love with the characters and Equestria in short order. Both TheDoktor (of fimfiction, who has a marvelous story you all should read to add a little romance to your day) and They-Call-Me-Orange (so far of fanfiction.net, we shall encourage the fine mare to come on over here) assure me that I am a

It's the same pair I mentioned in my introductory note, because they are amazing, and very few things bond people like writing.

On the subject of bonds only writers can make, I was very distracted from July to December planning my wedding, and you wouldn't believe how much fuss and bother people worry themselves about. I found a pretty dress, an awesome priest, and a cool place to have a party, and then I went and married an amazing farmboy poet that knows how to swordfight. (The coolest part of that summary is that all of it's true.) So that was very busying, but the wedding day itself was a rocking party after a ceremony with any number of amusing and truly cool anecdotes I'll save to dispense as interest merits.

The other time-consuming piece of work has been (finally) knowing what I want to be when I grow up. I'm in medical school, right now, but "I want to be a doctor" isn't quite enough to get someone where they need to be. I've decided that psychiatry just might be my field, because where else can you talk to people all day and meet some of the most awesome patients out there? (I'm completely serious, incidentally. I made all kinds of friends on the wards by picking the writers out and asking them what they like to write about. My favorite forever was a very quiet, very shy young lady who positively lit up when she got to tell me about her incredible ideas for some paranormal novels.)

So. The teaser about Chrysalis still applies, all interested parties, but before then...

It's been a very tough decision, because "all of them" is the easier answer, but I think Luna is my favorite pony. All things going well, I hope I can bring you a story featuring Luna and friends very soon!

Did she mention she married a farm-boy named A.J.? Cuz around these parts? That's kinda hilarious.:ajbemused:
