Bonus Chapter #1

I'm starting to forget things... important things, too. So I'll do a thing I'd never thought to do before. I'm going to write out what I remember on this bleak wall, deep within the long forgotten catacombs beneath... the... Galactic Sister's castle? Ugh, I forgot the name. So before I forget, this is what really happened.
It was very early and I had to deliver a package to Pony Village. Er- Pony town. I think. Anyway, I was doing it because it was my job, and I worked as a Roast Griffin. No, a Host Griffin. No... a Post Griffin; yes, that was it. So, while I was delivering the package, I noticed that Rainbow Dash was out, up in the clouds. She was trying to clear the storm that was roaring in my ears. She was also trying to calm down the other pony dweebs who were panicking.
And.... I felt sad. I wanted to help too. I felt that I owed her that much after my disastrous earlier visit to Pony City. I didn't want to be the mean, jealous and spiteful griffin who abandoned her best friend because she had other new friends. I wanted to be the griffin who came back and apologised and tried to make amends.
That was when I saw her. One of Dash's friends, up in the tower talking to... an Alicorn. But it wasn't Princess Sun or Princess Moon. It was some one else, and the sound of her twisted laughing and the sound of Sunset's (I think that was her name) screams of agony told me that she needed help. So I dropped my post bag into a tree and flew as fast as I could to help her. My wings were protesting because I hadn't flown so fast for a long time, but I still flew. I flew in through the open door of the tower and told the Alicorn to stop, to stop hurting Twinkle and that she'll have to kill me first. Twinkle looked sad and amazed; she looked at me and shook her head slowly, jerking it towards the door, telling me to go. But I stayed and I told the Alicorn that this was against the pony law.
She just laughed mockingly for minutes without end; then she bent her knees until she was at eye level with me. "Tell me, Griffin," She said, her voice like a cold snowball in the face, "Why are you here? Surely this dweeb means nothing to you?" Her face turned into my face, with the exact same expression on it when I told Rainbow Dash that Cherry Pie had made the pranks. "...It was Pinkie Pie, she set up this party to trip me up, to make me lose my cool! " the Alicorn's face turned into Rainbow Dash's. "...This is not how I thought my old friends would treat my new friends..."
Then the Alicorn's face turned back and was wearing a horrible grin. "So, why are you here, Gilda?"
I couldn't talk. It was as if a huge lump had suddenly appeared in my throat. How did this Alicorn know? "Well," said the Alicorn; "can't have you snooping around here, can we?" That was when she cast the spell. "You should be grateful," she told me; "Now you won't have to remember that horrible ordeal at all! Or anything else for that matter...."
What happened next, was a big blur; me racing out of the corridor finding a place to hide, finding Rainbow dash and telling her what I knew, being caught by the Alicorn when she was finished with Twinkle and being thrown in here.
And now, I'm about to die.
