    He lives!

I've got some great news! My editor is back in contact after a lengthy absence!
He's set to return to editing my work next week after his finals.

I'm currently reworking the latest chapter to take in account some issues people have pointed out.
Characterization for one. Big thanks to MachoManRandySavage for pointing this out and giving some help too!

    Update!

Just a quick rundown of what's going on recently:

-Guardian Angel is set to come back real soon! ('Bout a week or two)
-I may need to find myself a new editor, as I haven't heard back from my current editor in months.

I've also been working on a secondary project, so far which I'm very excited to be doing.
-Currently in the drafting/early writing stages

So... I figured I'd update this thing so it looks mite less depressing than "I feel terrible."

Ugh. I feel terrible. · 6:19am Feb 21st, 2013

Well. Over two weeks and no new chapter. I really don't know what to say anymore.

I've got 3 1/2 chapters done, but they're stuck on the editor's side right now. Not trying to badmouth my editor, as he's done wonders for improving my writing ability, but it's really starting to get frustrating. Two weeks the chapters have been sitting, unedited. Not his fault either. Screw you real life!?
That's not to say I haven't been without my own problems...
I feel like I'm going through the opposite of writer's block. Writer's overload maybe? *facepalms*
I've just got so many ideas flying through my head, some great, and others absolutely terrible. I literally could write like 10 fics and still have excess, but I won't. Why, you may ask?
I easily get scatterbrained. I start one thing, then another and another. Soon enough I'm trying to juggle stories and it becomes a mess.

So now the important parts.
Would you guys and gals prefer that I:
a) Post the unedited chapter(s) and then update when I receive the edited version(s)?
b) Or would someone be willing to fill in as a temporary editor if my actual editor is once again unavailable this weekend?
-As a temporary editor, you'd be looking over for basic grammar(mainly commas XD), flow and emotion in the chapter.

Thanks for your patience everypony,
~Nuuk

It would be ok for me if you would post the unedited chapters first.
I won't say it shouldn't be but your editor might get pissed if someone does the work and renders his useless. Also, it could change how the story flows...

Besides that: I hate it to wait!:rainbowwild:

Yeah. See that's my concern too. I don't want to seem like I'm throwing away his hard work, but at the same time, I don't want to wait anymore.
Ultimatum: I'll post the unedited versions this weekend if my editor is unable to come through, and then update the chapters with the edited versions as they become available.

I really hate doing this to you guys, I promised a chapter a week and so far have failed on that. :facehoof:
Rest assured I'm working on it.

I am pretty sure we can forgive you. That's the meaning of the whole "Love an Tolerance" thing after all, isn't it?:twilightsheepish:

And we just enjoy what you are giving to us willingly. Who are we that we could make demands?
My point being: don't be hard on yourself for not reaching a high stacked goal.
You are doing a great job anyway and we will patiently wait for the next chapter(s) to come.

Thanks for all the continued support. One thing this time off has been beneficial in doing is allowing me to smooth out and modify the final plot. So far I've made a few changes to help the flow, and added a couple of scenes.

Cheers,
~Nuuk.

I know what overloadslike hahaha, I just got it after I lost my writers block. Pain in the head... litterally. Too much info some good some bad and not enough places to put it so it just sits there bugging you until you find a place for it, distracting you. hahaha Best way around that is to start a new document and write down the ideas, it helps a ton.
