Sorry for the dramatic title.
So I got my second strike from EQD for Rats in the Belfry about fifteen minutes ago. This time, the prereader was a bit more charitable, saying they feel I can make it work and get on EQD if I try hard. Still, I'm on my last strike.
Apparently, the story suffers from oddball formatting and spelling glitches. I need to go over these with a very fine-toothed comb, and I need to make this story work. If I don't get it on EQD, I really don't feel it's going to go anywhere. RitB is a story I've worked hard on to get onto the radar, it being my first big OC-less story and therefore my first story since Crawling Creeper to really have a chance.
As such, while I was going to update today, I'm gonna hold off. I will do my best to write new chapters, but they will not be uploaded until either the story is on Equestria Daily or it fails for good. I hate to put a third story on effective hiatus, but them's the breaks. Thanks for reading.
And if you have any idea what sorts of glitches/oddball formatting the prereader is referring to, I'd be very grateful to hear of 'em.
