Is this thing on?

Hello? Can anyone at all hear me? HEY! I'm still here for the whole 4 or 5 of you that care in the slightest. I'm starting work on the next chapter now, but I'm quickly realizing that what I wanted to do with this story can no longer be done. Don't ask why. But I will finish it all the same with 2 or 3 chapters, then move on to a story I can effectively develop instead of hitting a dead end.
