Story ideas

More for me than anyone else, I'm just gonna keep track of ideas that pop I to my head here.

Main character is a pilot for a trans-Equestrian steam balloon. Takes place in a steampunk inspired version of Equestria. Mane six are your passengers. Balloon shot down while crossing the badlands. Story follows their escape and the battles that ensue.Each pony has a specific class. Twilight and Rarity are Unispecius Homo sapiens, nicknamed "Unis" for their ability to channel nature energy through their mutations (small bump on forehead). RD and Fluttershy are Pegaspecius Homo sapiens, nicknamed "Pegasus". Wings and bird-like bone structure allow them to fly. They can channel nature energy physically. AJ and Pinkie are regular humans, nicknamed "Earthies" by the other mutant cultures. They have enhanced muscle and bone strength, as well as recovery time.
Classes:
Twilight: the Mage of the group. Wields two heavy machine pistols and specializes In Telekinesis and shields.
Fluttershy: the healer of the group. Doesn't fight much, but is accompanied by Angel, a rabbit with a secret.
Rarity: The group's sniper. Uses her magic to steady her shot and calculate ballistics and trajectory. Master of camouflage.
Dash: groups scout. Fastest flyer. Wields a sawed-off shotgun and a old sword.
Applejack: The group's heavy weapons expert. Wields a chain gun that is attached to a contraption on her arm.
Pinkie: group's close quarters combat and stealth specialist. Wields a pistol and katana, but sometimes pulls a bazooka from nowhere.

The ponies need to cross the wasteland urgently to deliver a message. Message is very important.
