Chapter 8 is posted and announcement for The Lights of Music fans

Like the title of this post says, ch 8 of SWA is posted. This puts us at about the halfway point in the story.
That being said, I would like to say 'thank you' to everyone that is waiting on TLoM. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
So appreciated, in fact, that I have a special surprise (possibly even two) that I would like to give you.

The first surprise is a rewritten first chapter of TLoM. I'm not happy with how the story was turning out as I had it written. The plot moved too fast and would not have been very good. So, when I start it up again, I will give the already written parts a rewrite, making them better and more worthy of your readership.

The second surprise is a quick one-shot special for Hearts and Hooves Day, inspired by a very interesting image submitted to one of the groups I follow on dA. It is a first-person story told by the boyfriend of one of the flower trio (not Colton). It is a story of how the two of them overcome a great tragedy that befalls one of them.

I hope to have both of these things done to release the day before Hearts and Hooves Day.

Also, thank you to ACTASAP, the demigod of grammar who never gets confused over whether someone lies down or lays down (seriously, I can never get that right) and who I forgot to thank in the chapter proper in my excitement to get them posted. I apologize.
