Writing............. and Friendship........... is Magic

I had written the first chapter to a story two days ago. I realized today that there were things here and there that needed revision.

I feel like I'm forgetting something. Of course! I haven't even introduced myself.

My name is Sharif Ahmad aka Excentric. I have always enjoyed writing. Whether I'm writing poetry in college, writing an article for my job, or simply writing fictional stories I know that I will never lose the pleasure associated with writing something people enjoy. I hope to do the same here. I came here after becoming a brony. Was that obvious? Oh well.

I never like fan fiction. That is until I found out about fimfiction.com. Most fan fiction on the interwebs seemed to follow a similar pattern. I grew tired of it. FimFiction is a major refresher. I find myself browsing this site for hours on end reading stories and tracking the ones I like the most.

Inspiration came to me in the form of three episodes. The first two being The Return of Harmony part 1 and 2. I loved Discord but I found his plan lacking. There was a lack of real planning on his side that I thought would be present in the kind of villain he was. I wanted to change that but I had no idea how. My answer came when I watched Secret of My Excess. I found out how to make a story line that would involve Discord being the villain I thought he should be.

I can't say more about the story without spoiling it. Currently I'm working on Chapter 2. It will be released soon so I hope people will look forward to it. Until then I hope everyone the best and I apologize if my blog was unorganized. Too much to say, not enough patience to delve into it.
