Initiation into FiMFiction

Greetings. Just throwing words at a wall and seeing what sticks here. I guess I'm tying to say "hello". So... hello?

I had the idea of writing a fanfic for a while. I've done it before, but never published anything. I used to roleplay a lot; be it in tabletop, forum style, creative writing, et al.

I'm a trucker - currently between jobs. Keeping my fingers crossed that soon I will be hitting the road again. When that does happen, internet access will be sporadic, to say the least. I will be doing my best to keep things updated when I have time. On the one hand, I don't want to throw something out there that's complete garbage in my eyes, but on the other hand, I don't want to take forever for the next update and enrage people who actually might find my work mildly entertaining.

Now that this has been aired, as you could probably tell... I'm not expecting a big turn out. I've been inspired by some really wonderful pieces here. I simply decided to hold my nose and take the plunge. Some part of me doesn't care what people think of my writing, or even the story premise. Another part of me wants people to enjoy their time reading my work, and that I would be disappointed in myself if I find that people felt that they wasted their time.

Ah, well. I'll just keep truckin' along until I either feel that where I'm going with that story isn't worth the time, or keep on keeping on if people actually want it. After all, I do like to entertain to some degree.
