A picture is worth a thousand words

This time, literally. The awesome JackJacko-Eponymous just finished a commission for a pic about All that Glitters is Gold, and frankly, it's turned out more than awesome. It's the same pic that I use for the story's cover-pic right now. Not only is the guy an amazingly talented artist, but he managed to capture the feel and atmosphere of the

Gold standard is higher than ever!

I have just finished with the revision of the four published chapters of All that Glitters is Gold, and they have been updated for now. So expect less typos, grammatical mistakes, or odd wording. The one who made this feat possible was the story's amazing editor, hwrogers. In other words, a big thanks is in order for him. In addition, the fifth

    All that Glitters is Gold

Well, it's time for a new story that I've been building up for some time now. It's a welcome break from the heavy and darker storyline of KoHaE, what with being a completely fourth wall-less comedy. The characters, while part of the world, both make remarks about the actual work and argue with the narrator. Basically, whatever works for the sake of ridiculous comedy. References are also made to

References are also made to the real world stuff as well as what happened in the actual series, for good and for bad.

The characters themselves are type of OCs that acknowledge they are just that. In fact, they are even jealous of the main characters, who get to live in such a good and pure world, while they have to do random jobs and tasks just to scrape by in their life. And the characters themselves aren't really role models. The hero of the story, Fool's Gold, is a smoker and ex-host, which is somewhat questionably already. Then there's Short Fuse, who I can only describe as a stereotypical yankee/delinquent. And lastly, the sloth-like gryphon, Amber, with ridiculously sturdy body. The story follows the misadventures of these three, as they try to get rich.

Hopefully some readers will find this new story enjoyable. This does not, of course, mean that I'm abandoning KoHaE. Just that I'll be occasionally working on this, too. And while the first chapter of this story was a bit long, the rest won't probably be such big pieces, following the different style from KoHaE. In any event, I enjoyed writing this story immensely, and plan to do it a lot in the future.
