I don't think it's possible for the physical manifestation of chaos itself to be capable of any redemption, I mean look at that window in Canterlot Castle that shows ponies in literal hell. But I don't see any other likely outcomes. Oh well. And I've been meaning to ask, is calling this story case-book a reference to the actual case book of Sherlock Holmes, which is notorious for it's supernatural events?

Meh. Given how one new episode of the show can destroy the basis of most people's stories by changing/redefining characters it's easier to just soldier on with "well, this isn't cannon, deal with it". For a great story I don't care if it sticks to the show exactly, or at all even.

Speaking of great stories, will Mr. Holmes be returning to us sometime soon?
