What is the Fimfiction equivalent of a cake day? · 3:48am Dec 26th, 2012
So I was looking at my page to see when my anniversary of joining this site was because I knew it was coming soon and I've seen a bunch of other people doing a commemorative blog post. Turns out it was yesterday, Christmas Eve.
That got me thinking. On Reddit, your anniversary is called your cake day. If you make a post on your cake day, you are given free karma. (Don't ask me how that works, I may have an account but I only glance at it if I'm bored and have nothing else to do.)
So I was thinking that we should have a special term for the anniversary of our fimfiction accounts. After thinking about it, I thought a good term would be Muffin Day. Feel free to use it as you wish.
In other news, I have written a fic for Hearth's Warming. It stars Fancypants and Fleur-de-Lis and it's a rewrite of 'The Gift of the Magi', a short story written by O Henry. Here it is.
In yet other news, the next chapter of SWA is coming along. However, it involves content in which the characters are experiencing emotions that I have not a lot of knowledge on, so finding the right words is difficult.
Also, if he would like, I may have a prereader now. If he is interested, please message me on dA or comment on this post and I'll send you a link to chapter 7. Your help with TTIVM helped me a lot and I've come to value your opinion.
Thank you.
