some more stuff has come out of csx · 10:53pm April 22nd
there's been some more motive power that's come out from csx.
last week they introduced their first hydrogen powered diesel locomotive no. 2100 a rebuilt from a gp38-2. this was done by collaboration with cpkc. it's pretty nice (i'm not not much into the hydrogen units but this one is pretty good).
and second i checked the csx equipment update page from facebook while the they're still doing work on the 13th heritage unit. they've shared concept art of the next two units. (i'm going to say what they are this time).
the next one they're doing is no. 1967 for the seaboard coast line (another one of the road names i had hoped they would do). and the second one is numbered 1875 for the pittsburgh & lake erie (this one took me by surprise).
so i'm pretty exciting they're doing a unit for the seaboard coast line as that was one of the road names i had hoped they'd do. and the p&le was a nice surprise (may do research on that road name when the unit comes out).
now i wanted to wait to share when these came as a surprise like i did with the family lines and western maryland units. but theses may take awhile so i just thought i'd go ahead and share what the next units are planed.
so csx has still been on a ball with their motive power hope they come out with more special painted schemes soon.
