Numb

I drew this not that long ago on an iPad 9, Procreate, fell in love with this tablet and programm, really has all the features and more that an artist requires. This picture was kind of my cry for help I guess, I am a bit of drag when it comes to art descriptions, so excuse me and my lack of expression. What do I mean by a cry for help, well, usually when I am depressed or just feeling bummed out, as Dwight Schrute would say, I go to my favorite magician, she is pretty easy to draw for me, so when an art block hits me like a brick wall, Triskee is there with a sledgehammer to break it, although she can't lift it that much, but it's the power and greatful thought that counts. She tried her best and believe me, nobody but her could try like that. I digress, where was I? Ah, yes, the picture.

Tripsy here is really small, tiny even, so tiny she wears an mp4 like a backpack. The MP4 doesn't exist, it was inspired by some retro tech I saw on Pinterest, it does resemble an iPod Nano 6th, which I really wanted, but I was broke at that time and couldn't afford such luxury, not Trixie though! Stage magic totally paid off. Initially I drew just the earphones, but I thought they would just fall off, so I added an elastic band to keep them in place, so considerate. Triscuit though doesn't look like she appreciates it that much.

What's the song she listens to? It's Numb by Portishead. Another lovely band, this song just really makes me feel so at ease, I dunno, Beth (singer) has such a magical voice, it calms me down, but at the same time I feel so sad, the lyrics really carve my heart out. I do feel lost, and what better to do than draw, when you're feeling lost?
