A sneak peak.

A little look at a story I want to write soon.

The rain had come in just a Chrysalis had predicted yet the creature appeared to be unhindered by it. They had managed to get the upper hand and she now found herself pinned against a tree. Chrysalis's breathing was quick and short as she stare into the impassive mask of the armored figure. Whatever this creature was, he was good as fighting and proved it. She could feel the heat from the glowing energy blade that sizzled as the rain touched it. The creature in the armor didn't speak a word it studied her. She couldn't tell what was going on behind the mask but it soon retracted the blade and let her go. It then reached up under the helmet and it retracted. What she found under the helmet was what she had been told was a human. His dark hair was ruffled and messy, his face while quite young spoke of much experience due to the many scars. The same was true for his eyes. His green eyes spoke of many battles and many horrors that he witnessed during them. He turned to Chrysalis and he scowled.
"This is the kind of company your entertaining Twilight?" He spun around to face the young alicorn, his face red with fury. "You disappear for weeks with no word of where you are and then find you out in the forest with this... thing!" He says pointing at Chrysalis.
"Its not what you think James." Twilight says, her voice even as she limps over to help Chrysalis to her hooves. "She saved me and has been helping me recover after the last battle we had. You should really be thanking her."
James scoffed. "Like that's going to happen."
