Confederate Cavalry · 8:36pm January 11th
Despite the technological development of Earth being far more advanced than that of the Faust, the Confederate States of America (And many other nations) still make use of horse mounted cavalry units and units identified as cavalry.
Confederate Cavalry Units
The Confederate cavalry is split among three distinct groups. The Air Cavalry, which operates as helicopter mounted infantry. The Scouting Corps, which accompanies infantry for advanced recon purposes in small numbers. Finally, there is the Riders Corps, which functions as regular cavalry and is further split into Lancers and Riflemen. Lancers are largely unused as with the evolution of infantry tactics they have seen less, and less usability compared to the riflemen. Riflemen see heavier use due to their adaptability, if their dismounted they could work as an infantryman. If the battlefield does not favor horses they can serve alongside regular infantrymen.
