Merry Christmas, updates!

Hey all, figured i'd post a new blog to let you know that I am not dead and to wish everyone on here a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I also have some updates on my current story The Curious Case of Vanishing Unicorns and what's been going on with the other project i've been trying to finish.

First, The next chapter of The Curious Case of Vanishing Unicorns is well underway, but progress is slow currently as I am trying to decide if I want this to be one super long chapter, or split it into two separate ones instead to prevent it becoming too bloated, and in how to balance out the scenes without them becoming too bogged down in exposition.

As for my other project formally named A Heart of Frost, unfortunately the original idea I had for it has been shelved as I was not happy with how it was turning out in writing, instead i'll be using a different idea, one that i've been thinking about over in my head for a good while now, but I finally have the framework in my head worked out to make it happen. I won't give away too much on what it's about, but it does involve the holiday in G5 known as Winter Wish Day, and a shining blue moon.

I won't beat around the bush here, i've also been suffering from burnout and a lack of motivation in writing lately due to personal problems that I won't get into, but as we move into a new year I am hoping to come out of it refreshed and energized in order to get back on track and write me. I have other ideas in my head that I really want to bring to life and tell stories about, but at the same time I don't want to bog myself down by having too many stories to write all at once, but instead having just one big one to tell at a time, and a few smaller stories on the side along the way.

I plan to write one more blog post before the year is over with, but until then, have a lovely Christmas!
