Howdy y'all, sorry about up and disappearing on you again. Lots has been on my mind and on my plate since I last updated either Tales from Stable 83 or just my little blog here.
On this side of things I was thinking about Tales from 83, the couple of games that my ideas for it spawned, and the system I've been modifying to run these games and I realized that I had hit a bit of a wall and my creative work was suffering. The passion I had for working on all these things was still there but I wasn't producing the quality of work I wanted to be, leading to shorter less thought out entries/chapters/sessions and in general work I was less proud of. So I took a break and let my passion go dormant for a few months, but I'm finally back at it and doing by best to keep a steady pace. I don't have the next chapter ready for Tales from 83, but I'm working on it and will post it when I'm happy with it.
Over on side of the FoE tabletop I've been modifying and running games with, the work goes well and has been helping me keep my passion for writing stories alive while I took my hiatus. I mention the system as it is where the stories for projects Homesteader and A Cold-Whinny are being slowly pieced together and the inspiration to write a few more future stories is coming from. I think without the tabletop acting as something I can always easily work on, I would have given up on writing by now.
