Sonic Enters A New Generation: Legend of the Elements - Teaser

(Warning: This teaser was made because I didn't make one when I released the story, hopefully this builds a bit more hype and overall curiosity for what is in store for the narrative I've been wanting to tell for a while now. Hope you enjoy.)

Wish Movie Review · 7:52am Dec 17th, 2023

The 100th Anniversary movie for Disney and my overall thoughts on this movie is that it is... Fine. Let's see what I liked and didn't like about it.

The Good:

-The songs for the most part are enjoyable and do provide enjoyment, my favorite being At All Costs which in my opinion is slept on.
-King Magnifico (somewhat). Hey Chris Pine at least makes him a lot of fun, and for the first half of the movie he's pretty interesting and doesn't get boring.
-Asha is an enjoyable protagonist that provides enough heart to the movie.
-The Animation is smooth.
-The credits are nice.

The Bad:

-Most of the other characters are not great.
-Villain Song is disappointing.
-Art Style didn't work all that well.
-It feels a little rushed at times.
-Borrows a little too much from previous Disney movies.

Final Verdict:

It's a movie... there's not much else to say other than just wait for it to come to streaming that way you're not disappointed, because this didn't feel that special of a 100th Anniversary movie for the biggest animation company.

6.5/10 Disney needs to do better.

Yeah, i can agree that it rehashes almost too much from the older movies, there's literally a line where the Goat want's to say he wants to create Zootopia, and i'm like.." Really Disney? Is this a movie or is it a nostalgia bait movie?" I did like Asha, but she felt almost to similar to other princesses like Rapunzel and Moana. I think one of the main problems Disney has right now is with their protagonists being too similar to eachother. I liked Raya and the Last Dragon, one of the reasons was because i liked the way Raya was portrayed, it made her a bit more unique as a character.

I heard the CEO say's that they're gonna do" Quality over Quantity" from here on and i'm REALLY skeptical on what he means about" Quality"
Here's what i think they should do, put out only a few Marvel movies each year to give the writers time to plan out their next Saga, and fund smaller projects to being in theaters that have better chances of making a profit. No more live action adaptations, and make more original stuff, and make more interesting animation styles in their movies.

Shutting down Blue Sky was a mistake for multiple reasons. But one of that thing they often did, was trying out different things with each new movie, Rio was like a musical which i really love to this day, The Peanuts Movie was a perfect adaptation of the comics and did things really great, and Spies in Disguise was a fun spy movie. They did unique things with each of their movies, and it is such a shame that they were shut down, this is what Disney should do, be more creative with each movie, and put as much money as necessary into each one and make them stand out.

Sorry for going on like this, but this is my thoughts on what Disney could be doing to make themselves and Wish better, i just hope that they realize they're putting too much into the live actions and stop making them, and start taking more risks to get back on their feet.

I honestly understand what you mean. They haven't exactly been that great in recent years, aside from Encanto and maybe Raya and The Last Dragon (I've never watched it) They've been very disappointing with releases.
