Short Story: Secrets of Starlight what if. · 8:33pm Nov 23rd, 2023
Just something funny I came up with that wasn’t enough to make into a full story.
“Ha!” Zipp mocked as she flew out of the way of Allura’s purr attack. But just as she moved her head so she could look where she was going, the flying snow leopard suddenly appeared in front of her. “What?!” She exclaimed just before the attack was unleashed upon her.
However, instead of getting a creepy smile that would be nightmare fuel like the rest of her friends, sans Sunny since her alicorn magic made her immune, Zipp appeared uneffected by the attack. Now it was Allura’s turn to be surprised by the lack of sense. “What?! How?!”
“Do you know how long I had to deal with this all the crap that followed the last time a villain mind controlled me?” Zipp rhetorically asked. “3 months. I nearly died and had to pay for three months of therapy after the fact and I am not getting any of that shit back. So fuck you!”
“That still doesn’t explain how you’re not affected!” Allura pointed out in frustration, both from being denied and being back sassed by a pegasus.
“Oh, I know a guy that gave me some herbs and now I’m immune to any form of mind control that isn’t self infected.” Zipp explained casually.
“Really? Who?” Sunny asked.
Before Zipp could respond, a giant shadowy figure suddenly appeared above Allura. “Why did it get dark all of a sudden?” She asked as Zipp backed away. “Hey! Don’t you dare leave! I asked you a question!”
“Actually, I was the one who asked the question.” Sunny pointed out.
“Shut up!” Allura snapped, right before she found herself crushed under 13,000 pounds of elephant.
“Oh, that makes sense.” Sunny said as she put the pieces together.
“Yeah.” Zipp confirmed before saying to the elephant. “Thanks, Flame!”
“No problem!” Flame said as he gave what would probably be seen as a thumbs up with his trunk.
The End
Okay, you coming out of nowhere made me chuckle.

Yeah, after a bunch of angsty stories, I want to do some comedy ones.
