Good song. Maroon 5 always gets me all nostalgic of middle school and the last dance.

That aside, I'm not working on my first unfinished story that's barely a chapter long.
Instead, I've been working on another unfinished story that's barely a chapter long. . .

*cough cough* I say working like i'm actually doing it. *cough*
Ahem, I really need to tone down expectations. Perhaps to the point where my story is brazenly simplistic.
Because it's really just getting me down that I want to write an astonishing story with overarching themes and deep characters, but my writing can't show for that

My first story is a mess with an unplanned plot, and now my second story faces too many characters involved for me to handle.
If I have to structure both of these stories to a typical plot and have only two characters be of prime focus to get a story out, I'll do it.

In the end, I write these stories, maybe not for fun, but to get them out.
