A Phoenix by any other name...

...Would still burn hotter than hellfire!

So I recently had a PM from someone asking me about my Phoenix. Why a phoenix? Does it have a name? What's the story behind the picture? Well I thought that was an interesting time answering those questions and convenient that this PM came to me as I'm finishing up a new story that just happens to feature my Phoenix! Now for some of y'all who remember when I actually changed my name on here (again) back in 2017, y'all might remember why I felt the need for a rebirth (and that that year, I was entering my 20s) and thus I became known as Phoenix Heart 20. What y'all never knew was the specific reason as to why this particular phoenix. Well lemme give y'all a brief history lesson on my picture.

*My Phoenix is a female.
*Her name is Persephonē.
*She's 627 years old (that's admittedly young for a phoenix...roughly around the beginning of her young adulthood in comparison to human/pony years).
*This is her 2nd burn cycle.
*Her last burn cycle, she ended up an astounding 3,980 years old.
*Her plumage is scarlet base feathers and royal purple and gold crest feathers and mingled into her wings.
*Her favorite foods are Mango, Fire corn, Volcanic Ash, Grapes, Salmon, Rainbow Bass and Fireflies.
* She lives just north of the Dragon Lands (maybe a quarter hour away from Farasi) with a small band of other Phoenixes
*She met her companions after a minor altercation near her nest almost caused it's destruction.
*She has two non-phoenix companions in a Zebra and a Changeling.
*She only has 1 leg.
*She has a boyfriend by the name of Aïdōneús (he too is on his 2nd burn cycle, but is a bit older than her).
*Persephonē came to me in a vision one night in 2017 and filled me with such a warmth, I simply had to bond with her.
Hope some of that helped to see why my Phoenix is what she is. Her story will be up before Halloween.
