Rainboom Mutant Apocalypse · 3:06am Aug 29th, 2023
Greetings and salutation, my name is Wrex and this is my review. Grab a shotgun and some kunais, because I'm reviewing the EQNG spin-off 'Rainboom Mutant Apocalypse'. Basically, it's based off the TMNT 2012 Mutant Apocalypse Arc. I gotta admire how it's done due to Apocalypse situations ended up in R-Rated situations. This story shows friendship can survive even the world ending, hope isn't something that can be destroyed, and the fight ain't over till the last punch is thrown. I found not a single error in this story. I am proud to give it a 10 out of 10.
I especially love the ending.
Thanks, and despite so many critiquing about how long the Apocalypse actually takes place since the event that caused it, and the girls should be old ladies instead of middle aged or such. I just rolled with the storyline without worrying too much about time frame, and wanted to make sure I incorporated each of the Rainbooms in their own apocalyptic ways, from Sunset having lost her arm and Fugitoid and attached his surviving arm to herself, Rarity turning into a Gollum person while living alone in a gem cave, Spike becoming a mutant, and Rainbow and Applejack working with the Scale Tail or Honey Badger Ravager groups. And I had to make it a comic in real life Sunset was working just as my own way to ensure it was a what if scenario and not to be taken too seriously.

Yeah. I loved the add ons. The ending worked because the original felt too traumatizing. I mean, if it was supposed to be the finale, what were they trying to tell kids? ‘Protect the earth, it dies! The end! Buy our products!’ Now if they gave us something, like the Comic Sunset was working on, or it was all a dream or something, that would be different.
