The Last Pegasus Shower

The day magic died
ponies rained from the skies.
Their wings flapping furiously,
their screams cut off suddenly
as they hit the ground
like sacks of flour,
arched in agony
and went still.

In the silence,
the clouds moved on their own,
the sun slowly crept below the horizon
and harmony bled from Equestria.
