This account was created to write my stories in a little more private setting. If I ever put out any more stories on here, I won't post about it. I will surprise you instead.

I’m writing something that is very personal.

You know sometimes when you have a long day after work, you’re either feeling grumpy or just downright exhausted- that’s my life right now. I have two jobs to help support myself. And to cope, I decide to write a story inspired by that experience of mine.

I’m working on a story with just Twilight Sparkle, Luna, and Celestia. It’s a one shot that I hope to release soon. No spoilers.

Alicorn Reflections Oneshot Preview. The Best Sleepover. · 3:51am May 7th, 2023

‘Being a princess is exhausting’ Celestia thought to herself, as she used her magic to set the sun for the day. It was a long day for the white alicorn, since her royal duties were so tedious. In the morning, she had to address trade issues in Ponyville - that involved Rarity and pop sensation Sapphire Shores, arranged a checklist for an upcoming ball in the next six months, posed for Equestria's Daily front cover and mended issues with the castle staff. 'I can't believe I had so much on my hooves today', the white alicorn thought. All of these tasks took her all day to complete.

The sun began to set further down from the horizon, letting the violet night sky with its stars take over. Princess Celestia heavily sighed and closed her eyes for a second. She breathed in. Then out. In. Then Out. 'Better', she thought.

'I forgot how beautiful the night can really be'. Celestia thought, as she continued to eye scan the night sky. The stars twinkled like tiny silver bells on Hearth's Warming. She resumed to what she was doing and didn't realize that her younger sister Princess Luna was walking to the balcony where she was.

"Celestia, are you okay? Your expression shows that you're quite moody", Luna said.

"Here and there. I'm just exhausted from a royal's day work". Celestia only half smiled.

Luna clapped. "We must do something that can turn that frown upside, big sister".

Celestia's expression remained the same. "Like what, Luna?"

"I have an idea, a sleepover", her younger sister mentioned. "We can invite Princess Twilight Sparkle over".

Celestia began to uplift her smile slightly. "Sounds like a splendid idea. I will write a letter to her immediately". She trotted away from the balcony where Luna was still standing, still looking at the night sky she created. She eventually exited from the doors that led to the castle balcony and continued to make her way down the hall, to her own sleeping quarters.
------
Celestia had to head to her bedroom to find the quill pens, which she kept in a wooden box atop her fireplace. Her room was across from Luna's, she didn't need to walk too far. After four minutes, the tall white alicorn arrived in front of her bedroom door with a still exhausted face. She takes a deep breath before opening the door with her horn glowing.

Princess Celestia stepped into her room as she closed the door behind her. She groaned to herself softly. "When you're an alicorn, there's always the worst days you must battle. Your subjects". Celestia then slowly slumped her face onto her bed for a few seconds. She let out a few soft sighs before raising herself up.

'I like the sensation my own bed gives me', Celestia thought. Once she was out of her comfortable bed, Celestia scanned around her room, to see if she was able to spy the sight of the quills. She turned her head once more, and located the quills on her night stand.

"There you are", Princess Celestia said softly, to the inanimate objects of writing quills. Her horn glowed a yellow hue, as she levitated a red quill towards her. Since she kept her blank scrolls on the mirror vanity dresser, she also levitated one parchment to herself.

"How should I write this to Twilight?" she asked herself. "I should just make this letter brief".

Celestia expressed to herself aloud, what she intends to write, as the quill moves miraculously without her aid.

"Dear Twilight Sparkle. This is Princess Celestia writing to you from Canterlot Castle. My sister and I wanted to invite you to our residence for a sleepover, only the three of us. I will have the kitchen staff prepare us snacks, and then dinner. Afterwards, we can give each other facials, tell each other ghost stories, and chat about how our day went. How does everything sound? Please be in touch. Sincerely, Princess Celestia".

After she finished writing everything down, it was time to send it to the Castle of Friendship. Celestia set aside the red quill, and sealed the letter with her own official seal. "Let's send it!" She casted a teleportation spell to send the letter.

'I hope she gets my letter. Luna and I will be waiting for you.' Celestia thought.

In Ponyville, Princess Twilight Sparkle was getting ready to settle down for the day. After a long day of teaching at the School Of Friendship, she felt she needed time to herself. Her main students for half of the day were Gallus, Sandbar, Ocellus, Yona, and Silverstream. Unfortunately, Smolder was absent from school due to a cold. Twilight had a wonderful time teaching the Young Six aspects of friendship and the meaning that lies within the word. But after a very tedious day assigning lesson after lesson, she slumped onto her bed hoping sleep would overtake her.

Twilight closed her eyes slightly, while her back hooves were still clutched toward the foot of the mattress. “Ugh!” she groans. The purple alicorn slumped a pillow over her face, not wanting to bear the presence of her own room’s surroundings.

As Twilight Sparkle continued to hide her face under her pillow, swarms of magic enveloped her bedroom. As fragments of the sparks drifted separately, the yellow aura from Princess Celestia’s teleportation spell came as one to reveal a scroll, sealed with the white alicorn's first initial, the letter “C”.

The swarm of magic eventually dissipated, then the scroll containing Celestia's official seal, flew towards Twi's head. As the scroll flew closer like a badminton birdie, Twilight's ears perked at the incoming sound of a WHOOSH coming toward her.

"AAH!" Twilight screamed to no pony in particular, as she finally got up to see the scroll flying toward her. She attempted to duck too last minute, with the rolled up parchment hitting her head as a result. This made the purple alicorn wince in slight agony.

"Ouch, my head". Twilight grimaced, as she opened the letter with her magic. Once Twilight got herself together, she slowly took the time to read the letter to herself. The letter sent by Princess Celestia was short, with only one paragraph. The purple alicorn was able to finish the letter in twenty seconds.

"That was the shortest letter I had ever read", she exclaimed.

----

All I can say is that this chapter is "getting there" it's almost done, but not quite done. I always wanted to write a story featuring Twilight Sparkle, Celestia, and Luna spending some quality time together and I now I utilized the time to writing it. I won't disclose the release date, because it's TBD, that's why, tehe! But enjoy reading this preview. :raritywink:
