My mom asked me if there was a package addressed to her, so I called the receptionist about it. Before I get a response from her, I heard a really loud thump.
As I turned my head, I saw my mom collapse on the floor, having convulsions. I quickly rushed to her and held onto her. She held onto me and her convulsions stopped as she took numerous deep breaths. Afterwards, she stayed sitting on the floor for several minutes, I gave her a couple of menthol balms for her to sniff and a glass of warm water for her to drink.
Seeing her convulsing for the first time got me so afraid. I had bad thoughts about what's going to happen to her. It made me very afraid that she might experience those while driving a car.
Because I told my mom that I saw her hit her head as she collapsed, she searched for home remedies for head pain and she said an ice pack would do the trick. She showed me the bruises on her back and elbow as a result of her collapse as well. After she took a shower, I applied liniment on those parts.
Before she went to sleep, she told me that my dad told her that she shouldn't stand up right away from sitting down and she shouldn't get out of bed immediately after waking up. He further said that she should see a doctor to get a check-up. I was about to say the same to her. At first, she insisted that she was fine, but the following day, she decided to go see a doctor on Tuesday.
