Why bronies are bronies (Or pegasisters!)

My friend has recently shown me a video on YouTube of a news channel discussing "Bronies". During this discussion, I noticed that the news anchor's compared "Bronies" to terrorists. I was completely appalled at this comment and felt very insulted by them, for I happen to be a pegasister. I'm sure many of you reading this right now remember when the color pink turned into a masculine color.

Why bronies are bronies (Or pegasisters!) · 4:01pm Dec 16th, 2012

My friend has recently shown me a video on YouTube of a news channel discussing "Bronies". During this discussion, I noticed that the news anchor's compared "Bronies" to terrorists. I was completely appalled at this comment and felt very insulted by them, for I happen to be a pegasister. I'm sure many of you reading this right now remember when the color pink turned into a masculine color. Clothing factories started printing pink shirts for males saying,"Tough guys wear pink", or other logos on how pink is the new must-have. The reason I brought this odd topic up is because - believe it or not - I'm starting to think that ponies just may turn into the new tough-guy. Now the question still looms- Why are bronies, or pegasisters, bronies? Now you may just have a simple answer for this, such as,"Well, that one's easy. Bronies are grown men who enjoy ponies, so they are bronies because they like ponies." But, my fellow brony or pegasister, that is not all there is to it.
The actual atmosphere of the show My Little Pony : Friendship is Magic (Which it is) may play a part in this liking of ponies. The place Pony Vill is a place where one can live in peace and take after almost anything they want. For example, Twilight Sparkle's house is a library itself, because of her hobby of reading. Pinkie Pie loves throwing parties, so that's what she does for a living. Rainbow Dash finds herself overflowing with joy when she is in the clouds. Let's not forget Fluttershy, who can't imagine life without animals, and Rarity who has a passion for fashion. Last but not least, AppleJack, who lives on her families apple orchard. I'm not sure about you, but if I could be absolutely anything in the world, I would either be a ThunderClan kit from Warriors, or my original character who lives in Pony Vill. The grass is always green, the birds are always chirping, and the sky is always blue (I almost typed green for a minute). Who wouldn't want to live there? Especially with six one-of-a-kind friends who couldn't be better. Now this doesn't include Trixie, but almost every pony in Pony Vill is excepting and kind when it comes to fellow ponies. Wether you're taking a stroll in the woods with Fluttershy, clearing the skies with Dash, discussing your favorite book with Twilight, harvesting apples with AppleJack, partying with Pinkie, or trying on a dress for Rarity, I'm sure you wouldn't be in a bad mood, unless you're like Fluttershy modeling a dress for Rarity, if you know what I mean.
(To be continued when I have a chance)
