Valoriant And Its Future.

Hello everypony! here are some updates for the valoriant story and why I made this story.

firstly for those early readers, the original title for the story was called "Never Have I Ever" but since it was kind of a boring title and it didn't seem to fit with the story I had to improvise. eventually, it came out with "Valoriant" which I know most of you must have thought its a cringy name considering I just placed an "I" in valorant but It fitted the story well. I want Justin to be that scared teen that doesn't realize there is more to him than meets the eye. also, the title also mixes with the words "valor" and "valiant" which both mean the person shows great courage and determination.

Why valorant?

The reason why I made this story is because of three things. 1 is that no one has done this yet so I wanted to be the first one to make a story about valorant. of course, I will be talking about some lore that the valorant community had found in the game into the story for context and origins of the abilities and tools. 2 why Justin is a Filipino is because I rarely see any stories that Filipinos are main characters, of course, Justin only speaks half Filipino for English readers to understand the dialogue but when he does I just put a translator next to the dialogue. Just wanted to release the Filipino bronies from their hiding place to hopefully enjoy my story. and lastly, I wanted to try something new. I had been mostly animating on a phone cuz my laptop wouldn't run sfm properly and I wasn't really a fan of reading a lot. When I discovered this website I was willing to give reading a try. First I relied on audio reading as I imagine the things that are happening in the story. Human Nature is definitely my favorite book to read on. Eventually I started reading on my own then it hit me. I could make my own story if I wanted to that way I can let my imagination run wild while typing it out on my laptop but the thing was how was I going to make my story? I've only joined the fandom last year and I haven't really properly watched the show yet so it was going to be a challenge. eventually, I said to myself I was going to wing it and hope for the best and here we are now. with a total of 839 views, 3 likes and 1 dislike, and 2 followers. I was pretty proud of myself considering this was my first time and I'm sure you guys are enjoying it as well from the number of views that keep coming so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The Future Of The Story

I plan for this story to have acts every 10 chapters just so I could have some time for myself and do other things that don't involve writing. Currently, chapter 5 is about halfway done and I'm slowly working on chapter 6 here's the progression so far.

Chapter 5: Apple Heist- 100% complete
Chapter 6: Other Perspectives- 45% complete
Chapter 7: An Unwelcoming Visit To Ponyville- 1% complete
Chapter 8: Pick A Side- 0% complete
Chapter 9: Lockdown- 0% complete
Chapter 10: The Elements Vs The Humans- 0% complete

For now, chapters are on hold right now for I have to focus on school and stuff so until then see you guys on the next one!
