    State of the Rainium: 2024

    Hello all. :raritywink:

Last year was way, way busier than I had anticipated. Schooling and work-related commitments took up most of my time, so I wasn't able to make much progress on any of my stories on here. I feel that 2024 will be more of the same in that regard, so I'll have to find a way to carve out more writing time so I can stay on top of my stories here.

Hello!

First time doing one of these, but since it’s a new year, I figured I’d give an update on how things are going on my end.

Currently, I’m ~7000 words into the next chapter of Across the Divide and ~2000 words into the next chapter of Shadowbolt Harmony Division. I work on them as I get inspiration for them, but I’m hoping to finish Divide’s chapter this month before turning my full attention back to Division. This alternating chapter-for-chapter style of writing has worked well for me so far, and as long as people are still enthusiastic about me continuing these stories, I’ll continue to work on them.

I also have a couple stories well into the planning stages at this point. I’ve got eyes on a Control-MLP fusion fic, an expansive G5 story that functions as a reworked sequel of the movie, a prequel to Divide set in the Southern Badlands, and an AU story that explores the ramifications of Cozy Glow’s attempt to drain magic from Equestria. However, I don’t feel like I can reasonably focus on more than two stories at a time at this point in my life, so as long as Divide and Division continue to interest you all, I’ll keep my focus on them. But feel free to let me know what you’d like to see from me!

I’d also like to thank all my readers while I’m here. With all the busyness of life, it’s hard to focus on writing pony as much as I’d like, but your responses and comments are what drive me to keep going. I always read all of the comments posted, even if I don’t always respond. Thank you so much.
