Happy New Year's, an update if sorts. · 5:48pm Jan 1st, 2023
like the title says, happy new year's. To whoever's reading this and is wondering as to why I've been MIA for the past however long I've been crushed under the weight of extensive travel and overtime due to work as well as just the distraction of everyday life; Working double shifts and coming home to the mile long list of chores takes up all of my free time literally. Thankfully the worst of the storm has come to pass and I'm back home again after a slightly intensive work trip out of state. (The Midwest states suck.)
Anyways, I've decided to come up with a couple of new year's resolutions as does everyone else. All of mine are small ones for the most part, but a few of them are specific to this website alone and I've figured now would be the easiest time to post them.
- Post a Blog post every Thursday, giving detailed updates on writing at the bottom of each post. i.e. The time, dates, word count added, and length of time spent writing
- Every day after work sit down and write with no distractions for at least an hour. these past couple of months I've had little free time to write and the free time that I did have I spent procrastinating when it came to writing, this resolution is the cause of the ladder half of the first one as without the looming sword of Damocles that is a progress report, I fear I would still find ways to put off writing.
- Write a short story at least every other month, nothing bigger than what would be found in the writing events that are hosted on this website from time to time.
- Interact with the community more, as mentioned above I would like to maybe take part in said events from time to time.
- Finally, I'd like to get to work on watching the full FIM series. I've been putting it off for the longest and now I figure it's time for me to stop and just finish the series.
After all that craziness, you can take a break. Yeah, the Upper-Midwest during Winter is Frost Punk.
