Twilight Sparkle: Psychic,Fairy (a mage type basically)
Rarity: Psychic,Rock (rock type because of gem stone special talents)
Rainbow Dash: Flying,Fighting (I don't think I need to explain this one)
Flutershy: Flying,Normal/Psychic (psychic type because of the stare tho Im not sure if this is enough to justify it)
Pinkie Pie: err... Normal,Fairy? (honestly I'm not sure what to give her)
Applejack:Normal,Grass or just Normal (grass type because of the whole farmer aspects tho I'm not sure if that enough)
Starlight Glimmer: same as Twilight.
Sunset Shimmer:Psychic,Fire or Fairy/Fire
Unicorn: Psychic type unless they dedicate themselves with magic which in that case they gain Fairy type.
Pegasi:Flying type for obvious reason. Maybe Electric type if weather management is their special talent.
Earth Pony:Normal type. They gain extra type depending on their job or talent.
