They will go to a photograph shop, the proprietor coming out, discussing what the two ponies want, leading them to the back to choose a backdrop, and snapping them in pose. To let you know, I am very well, apart from cutting my thumb on Monday with a kitchen knife. My thumb and wrist are now swaddled in bandages, tape and adhesive strips (which is not tape). The whole thing will come off on Thursday evening.

My aunt died on Wednesday 1st November.
It was not entirely unexpected, as she had been ill for some time, bedridden in the bungalow she stayed in. Pain eased by morphine. A relief she is not suffering any more.

My paternal grandfather died quite suddenly on Tuesday 8th March at 82 years and 7 months old. It was not wholly unforeseen, but unexpected. I feel sorry for the young woman who was with him when he died, especially as she is my age and we went to the same school. My grandfather had been suffering the end results of Alzheimer's disease, and he had been in the home for ten months. He had come to Barra with my grandmother in June 2014.
