So, after a long time and a lot of work, I finally did it! This past Saturday, I graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor's of Science in Cell Biology. Wow, I can't believe its been a year since I first joined Fimfiction. And what a whirlwind ride its been! I've read so many good stories that I can't remember all of them, and found so many fantastic and interesting people. Amongst them, a surprisingly insightful high schooler (Draconaquest), a guy who actually makes me want to start watching the WWE (LightOfTriumph), those who introduced me to, and made me fall in love with, my favorite ship: SunLight (The Albinocorn and Feather Flyer), and

Just... just... I don't know what to say. It was a direct blow to my feels, and it was amazing! If you haven't seen it yet, watch it as soon as possible. What a great way to mark five years of pony!
So, I actually attended my first convention, ever, a week and a half ago. I went to Fiesta Equestria! in Houston, and let me say, it was a blast. I haven't had that much fun in a long time, and the people there made me feel so welcome. And not just the con staff, but the other attendees, too. I don't think I've ever been able to walk up to a random person before and just pick up a conversation! It was absolutely amazing, and I even got to meet one of my favorite analysts: I Love Kim
Well, I finally did it. I told my dad that I'm a brony, and it feels so good to finally have the weight of keeping it a secret off my chest. I hated keeping it a secret from him for so long, but the time never seemed right to tell him. So glad that I told him, even if the end response was "whatever, son."
