...and sometimes she yells.
After two years of mostly nothing coming out of my fingers, I've finally been graced with a monsoon of inspiration for Mum's Diner.
I've had a fascination with languages for a long time, though I've never managed to actually learn enough of any one language to become fluent in it (English excluded). I've picked up bits of Latin, Spanish, German, Russian, and Japanese but I couldn't hold a conversation in any of them. At best, I can fake my way through reading Spanish. But I find all of it interesting even to just know a little.
"A chapter a month" I said.
"They'll be short" I said.
"It'll be easy" I said.
Forget whatever I said about regular updates. I'll be updating whenever the muse gets around to whispering in my ear.
It's been hard to focus on writing. I get home from work and it's all I can do to just veg out until bedtime. Weekends are better, but I have other hobbies taking up my time too.
