April means vast shifts in the weather, busy times at work, and the sheer unmitigated joy of writing large checks to the IRS.

But I also finished the next chapter of Scootaloo's New Family. Scootaloo endures multiple misadventures with the ponies of Ponyville. Did I mention your favorite?

I'm writing the next chapter of Scootaloo's New Family. This time, there are two characters whose name differ by one letter. The two different letters are right next to each other on the keyboard, and of course I keep hitting the wrong key. A more careful round of editing will be required!

It's Hearth's Warming Eve. I'm on vacation with my immediate family. The temperature was close to 30 degrees Celsius, and I enjoyed a day at the beach.

But soon, I must return to less pleasant climes. I've squeezed in a bit of writing, so hopefully I'll have another chapter of Scootaloo's New Family before the end of the year.
